Listening through Odi’s amazing Legacy NYC mix has had me loving a number of tracking in the mix. One track “Flatliner” has caught my attention and the attention of Mel over at Apt 11. I actually didn’t know the track and had to ask the grandmaster Odi himself; who let me know that it is infact TC. Check it out below. Awesome awesome vocals.
TC – Flatliner
Dude! This song is so choice! Thanks for finding this! Every time it comes on in the mix, I keep rewinding it. It only sneaks in briefly, but it is so damn haut! Glad you were able to source the author and offer up the track. Rawk!
Unfortunately I missed last months amazing Legacy party thrown by the NYC Jungle crew. From what I gathered from the live mixes, it was a fucking amazing time. Check out these mixes from the original Odi himself, and Profile.

So by now you know they can throw it down. Check out their next event with Jumping Jack Frost on August 23rd by checking the board.
This guy just keeps blasting out mixes day after day. Its getting hard to keep up with all the music he’s dropping on us. Just a hint… This mix has both Snow and Teisto so be ready for some good times.
Download The Captain – Summer Heartbreak Mix
PS… I wonder if he may be playing a party this weekend on a rooftop bbq.. hrmmmmm
I have been rocking these Sennheiser’s for at least 2 years now and they still keep pounding the bass in my ears. Maybe its because Sennhesier has listed one of the feature as “High levels and crisp bass for modern rhythm-driven music.”
What sub-100 headphones do you guys use for listening to music at the office, on the train or wherever you listen to music?
Office – Went through the Grado SR-80, Senn HD-280, Senn HD-201, AKG-k271, finally settled on the AKG-k701. The first three are all sub-$100, if I’m not mistaken.
Sennheiser CX-300s for the commute.
NYC’s own The Captain put together another great heavy bass mix for you all to download. Right in time to get you pumped up before he play’s alongside Green Velvet this Saturday at Put Your Hands Up for NY at Studio B.
Good Looking out dude!
Thank you!
I try to post as many event’s I can on this blog during the week but sometimes I just get overloaded at my day job and don’t have time to update. To combat this I set up a event board where you can post your own events or comment on others. Its right above this posting, in the header. Yep right there!
If you have been to the site in the past few days you might of noticed it acting it a bit strangely. Well it was because I transfered webhosts to a new server which should net much better performance, but in rebuilding my SQL tables I overwrote this WordPress with another one. It was a mess but it should be all cleaned up now and the site should be functioning so much better so enjoy!
