This Sunday head over to Galapagos at 8pm to check out some of the best short films about bicycles ever created. The folks over at Bike Shorts really have their shit together when it comes to given us an awesome Sunday night. Don’t believe me, check out the winning video from last month:
Fixed Gear Riding in Texas
San Marcos Fixed from BenW on Vimeo.
I never would of thought that Texas would of had a track bike scene. I guess that goes to show you now NYC centric one can get. These guys down south really know their respective shits’
Day with Doom from Kroog . on Vimeo.
Some more footage of some fixed gear free styling on a sunny day in San Francisco. Nice little video that captures the vibe of the day

Modeselektor finally touches down in NYC this Friday the 21st at Studio B for a show that is sure to be awesome. A bit steep @ $15 for the door but worth it for this line up.
Kid Sister ft. Kanye West - “Pro Nails” from Ruben Fleischer on Vimeo.
Not a huge fan of Kanye West, but the bassline and the Kid Sister riffs on this video make it a worthy bassline contender. Really great sound, and I have been hearing this track played out more and more often lately.
council of doom: official full-length trailer from wolfgang on Vimeo.
John Prolly found this video of the fixed gear freestylers Council of Doom doing their thing over in LA. If this trailer is any indication of how the full length will be, I am hella excited!
AC Slater New Mixtape

Another fucking AWESOME mix from Bushwick’s AC Slater. This guy only popped up on my radar late last year when Palms Out start playing some of his tracks. After listening to the first one I was hooked. This guy fucking loves bassline, and I for one can’t get enough of it. Check out this full length mix of awesomeness and then check him out Thursday night, (flyer below the fold).

Benga in NYC March 28th!
Benga benge benga! Dubstep awesomeness drop’s on NYC Friday the 28th at love. Seriously awesome that the TnB guys can nail down a European Dubstep heavyweight like this. If you go to one even this Spring make it this!

Some video footage from Cut Copy’s performance at the Daft Punk show in Australia
Rick Astley is Awesome (Still!)

Palm’s Out is one of my favorite music blogs for many reasons, but a big one this week is because of this awesome awesome track.
